Baby shower for North Kent Connect

The Friday Women’s Bible Study, in connection with the Layette Project for North Kent Connects, held a baby shower on Friday, June 26, at a private home, following current social distancing guidelines.

This project, which is a part of the Respect Life Ministry at Our Lady of Consolation, makes up layette baskets for moms who are in need, within the guidelines of North Kent Connects guidelines. Catherine Landers, Director of Client Services, also attended the shower to tell the women a little more about the moms we serve thru North Kent Connects.

This is an example of the love and generosity of the women of Our Lady of Consolation for unborn and newborn children. Through this Layette Project we can reach out to the women and children in the Rockford and North Kent area. All of these 575 items will be put to good use.

A complete list of all donations received will be printed in the July 5 bulletin.

Mass Sign up Courtesy

As our Masses fill closer to our maximum capacity it becomes more important for our guests to be mindful of their registrations.

This past weekend, we had 56 reservations not attend Mass at the 8:30 am Mass alone.  We understand that last minute things may arise that do not allow you to attend Mass, however we do ask that, when possible, you cancel your reservation if you become aware that you are not able to attend.

Thank you so much for your assistance.

Adoration Sign-in

We have transfered all of our Adoration Sign-in to digital for the safety of our Adorers.

There is a QR code on the door (and the website is also listed) for you to

listed) for you to check-in on the adoration software.  We have also added a button on the MPA to allow you to check in even easier.

Accurate tracking of adorers is very important for our records that are sent to the Diocese.  Please help us track our adoration by checking in and out of Adoration using the program.
