Liturgies & Easter Sunday

Registration for Easter and Holy Week have been on the Parish Reservations page for the last several weeks. If you are planning to attend any of these liturgies, please take a moment to sign up today!

The initial 325 reservations are for the nave and the commons just like our regular Sunday Masses. If these fill up, we will open another 100 seats on the reservation page for the overflow area in the Holy Family Center. We will add more over flow if needed based on need.

Everyone is still encouraged to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the start of Mass for optimal seating as we are NOT planning on reserved seating.

What is the nave? I thought it was the sanctuary?

nave – the central part of a church building, intended to accommodate most of the congregation. In traditional Western churches it is rectangular, separated from the chancel by a step or rail, and from adjacent aisles by pillars.

sanctuary – the area around the altar is called the sanctuary; it is also considered holy because of the physical presence of God in the Eucharist.
