Changes Coming for Masses Starting THIS weekend

Due to the Bishop’s extended dispensation through November 23, and his granted permission to increase seating capacity on the parish level, the below changes will go into effect beginning with this weekend’s Masses.

Every other pew will remain roped off to help us maintain at least 6 feet of social distance between families.

– Additional chairs will be added to the front rows, back of church, and in The Commons.

– Both the North and South entrances will be open with a registration table on each side. Please consider sitting on the side of the church you enter and sign in on.

– Sanctuary doors can now be used as EXITS ONLY to allow for quicker disbursement after Mass.

– We ask that everyone continue to wear a mask at church. If this is a hardship, please contact Fr. Tony directly.

– We are running the fans to keep the air circulating, please keep in mind that it may a little chillier than usual.

– Please continue to bring your own sanitizer if possible. Thank you!

Because of these changes we will need even more volunteers to make things run smoothly! Please contact Mary Harkema if you can help at mharkema@olcparish.net. Thank you for your unwavering patience!

Please help us save on paper and postage!

Our 2020 Census is essential to maintaining accurate records. Please consider completing your form THIS WEEK to reduce the amount of final notice letters we need to mail out.

The forms take less than 10 minutes to complete and paper copies are now available in the parish office and at the table in The Commons.

Thank you to everyone who has already completed the 2020 Census!

It’s Not Too Late to Sign Up!

There are still spots open for classes at all grade levels. We have several families that we have not yet heard from. We know that this year has a unique format with the online platform, but we know that this will only strengthen the parent-child bond and encourage your family to grow in holiness together!

We are also still in need of catechists, assistants, and small group leaders. If you would like to learn more about how you can get involved, please contact Tonnie Pahl at tpahl@olcparish.net

Called to Serve

Are you looking for a fun new way to serve our parish community while supporting all of our Catholic education and formation opportunities here at Our Lady of Consolation? We are looking for a small team to assist with with planning the 2021 OLCEF Auction. This year’s event will be 100% virtual and a breeze to plan! If you would like to learn more or you would like to share your talents, please contact Kristina Poirier at kpoirier@olcparish.net. Thank you for prayerfully considering this special gift of time!

Adoration

We have brought back the sign in table outside of the Adoration Chapel. You may still use the QR code if you prefer, or manually sign in as we have done in the past. Please be mindful of our “clean” and “used” pens when signing in as we continue to maintain safety protocols.

Spending time every week in the Classroom of Silence will transform your spiritual life and refresh your soul. Please consider committing to one hour each week for yourself or come as a family.
