Important Update from Deacon Jim
This post was originally published on this site.
With gratitude for the blessings of ministry and service here at our parish, I am sharing that I will be leaving my Deacon work at Our Lady of Consolation and begin a new assignment at St. Robert of Newminster beginning September 1, 2026.
Despite this change for me, my wife, Jean, and I are not moving away. We will remain living in the parish. Jean will continue her ministry work here at OLC. You may see me from time to time, as well.
I am deeply thankful for the kindness, encouragement, and support you have shown me during my time here. It has been a privilege to serve with you, pray with you, and walk with this faith community. I am especially grateful to Fr. Dominic for his friendship and support.
Please keep me in your prayers as I make this transition and know that I will continue to pray for this parish and all whom I have been blessed to serve.
Yours in Christ,
Deacon Jim Hessler
