Miss Abby Giroux joins the OLC school leadership team in July of 2025. She began her career in education teaching middle school math and science at Corpus Christi Catholic School in Holland, MI. She then moved to a leadership position at All Saints Academy Upper Campus in Grand Rapids. After completing the Program for Education (PIE) Mild Intervention Certification Miss Giroux took a job with PIE at the University of Notre Dame as the Associate Director for 3 years. She has also worked as an adjunct math instructor and student teacher supervisor at Aquinas College and an Instructional Coach.
In addition to working for Catholic schools in various capacities Abby has participated in committee work for the Diocese of Grand Rapids Catholic Schools Mission Effectiveness Committee and the National Catholic Partnership on Disability Catholic Schools Committee.
Miss Giroux holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s of Science Education from Aquinas College, A Master’s in Catholic School Leadership from the University of Notre Dame, and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 Certification. She is also a certified Archery Instructor with the National Archery in the Schools Program.
Miss Giroux enjoys being outdoors hiking, gardening, and spending time at the beach with family and friends. She also enjoys reading and traveling when possible.
