High School 9-12

Program Information:

The High School Youth Group meets Sundays from 6:00-7:30 PM at St. Kateri Lodge.

The High School Youth Group at Our Lady of Consolation provides a place for teens in 9th-12th grade to find their place in their Roman Catholic community, to get answers to questions about their faith, and most importantly, to experience Jesus Christ in a real and profound way. With an emphasis on the Sacraments, Mary, & the Saints,

Through prayer, engaging talks, games and activities, small group time, and more, youth will grow in their Roman Catholic Faith.

The Upper Room:

The Upper Room is a group in which high school teens have the opportunity to use their God-given gifts and talents to lead their fellow teens and the Our Lady of Consolation Parish Community closer to Jesus. Members of the Upper Room will help plan and lead high school youth group, assist with retreats and special events, assist in Elementary Faith Formation classes, and more.

The Upper Room seeks to imitate the call to evangelization by using the gifts of the Holy Spirit we receive at Confirmation. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our model and guide, we will bring all we encounter in the Our Lady of Consolation Parish closer to Jesus.

Any high school teen in 9th-12th grade is invited to prayerfully discern joining the Upper Room. High school teens interested in being a part of the group should be attending Mass weekly, have an active prayer life, and be living out their faith according to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
