Steps to schedule your child’s baptism:
- Call the parish office to schedule a date
- (New parish families or expectant new parents) Attend a Baptism Class at OLC prior to child’s birth
- Complete and return the Baptism Register one month prior to the baptism date

The 90-minute class is held in the Elizabeth Ann Seton Room (the “Cry Room” during weekend Masses).

Baptism Date Celebrations
Baptisms at OLC are held in the church sanctuary on the 2nd full weekend of the month and on most Sundays of the 4th weekend of the month. On Saturdays they are held at 6:30pm, after the 5:00pm Mass. On Sundays they are held at 12:30pm, after the 11:00am Mass. Please note that the 11:00am Mass uses incense.
Families and friends are asked to be present 15 minutes prior to the celebration.
New Parish Families and Expectant New Parents
First time parents as well as new parish families are required to complete a baptism class prior to their child’s baptism. Parents are encouraged to do so prior to the child’s birth. This consists of an at-home video series, Reborn along with reflection questions to be completed before attending a one-time 90 minute session. The 90 minute class is held in the Elizabeth Ann Seton Room (the “Cry Room” during weekend Masses).
The Reborn videos are available on FORMED.org and are available for free to our parishioners. Parents are to view REBORN episodes 1 -3 then discuss and complete the reflection questions prior to your scheduled class time.
