A note from Ms Giroux

Dear Parents,

Starting today automatid messages will send from Infinite Campus (IC) on Fridays IF your son or daughter has missing work or a below as C. You can ALSO set your own notification parameters in IC. Directions can be found here: https://www.infinitecampus.com/support/parents-and-students

We had a few Dads step in this week and test out some of our routines for our new Dads Of Great Students program with me! Thanks to those that helped me with a trial run. We will kick off with a formal gathering for our OLC Watch D.O.G.S soon, and look forward to having them present in the school more frequently in the weeks to come!

Please join us in praying for Ms Francis-Bohr and her fiance as they count down one more week to their wedding!

Saints Louis and Zelie Martin, pray for them!

Starting today, the Spritual Growth Commitee started praying the weekly rosery. Please feel free to join them on Fridays at 2:45 pm to pray. They will meet by the Statue of Mary outside when the weather is nice and in the narthex of the church on days it is not. Also, you are more than welcome to share your prayer needs in the book of intenions right outside the school office.

“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.”

-Ms Abby Giroux-

Individual counseling is available for OLC students to address social or emotional challenges that can interfere with a student’s ability to reach his or her full potential. Counseling during the school day is brief (usually 20-30 minutes every other week) and solution-focused to help students identify problems (such as school-related anxiety, stress management, emotional regulation, or social skills) and brainstorm changes in thinking and/or behavior that could help solve those problems. Participating in counseling outside of school may be a better fit for students or families who are facing ongoing mental health challenges, life transitions, or behavioral problems seen primarily at home. If you are wondering if counseling at OLC is right for your child or if you have any other questions, please contact Mrs. Williams at jquiroz@dogrschools.org.
