Happy Mother’s Day!

On behalf of the teachers and all the staff, I want to thank the Parents Association for the amazing Teacher Appreciation Week.  You have gone far beyond spoiling!  Thank you for being partners with us in the education and faith formation of your children.  Thank you to Jenny Wittkowski and all the room parents for the wonderful lunches and breakfast.  

Spring MAP testing is complete.  We will send MAP scores home to families next Friday, May 17th.  Please take some time to go over your child scores and compare them to the scores they received last fall.  Attached to your child’s report will be a QR Code to confirm that you received the scores.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this. 

We hope you can catch one of the performances of Junie B. Jones Jr. next week.  The cast and crew have been busy preparing for months.  We are excited to share the many gifts and talents our students have been blessed with.  See the attached for show time information.

We are still looking for your feedback.  Please take a minute to complete the survey on the 2023-2024 Parenting Series below.  

The deadline for the Catholic Identity Survey sent out by the Office of Catholic Schools is May 24th.  Please consider completing this survey and add your feedback to those of parents across the diocese.

OLC Lego Robotics & VEX Robotics Informational Meeting for the 2024-25 Season 

Is your 2^nd– 7^th grade student interested in joining one of OLC’s four robotics teams (2 of which are new) next fall?  If so, please join us for a parent AND student mandatory informational meeting.  Here you will learn about each team and see the robots that can be created and coded.  As a result, each family will be able to see which team will be the best fit for their student before registration begins.  This will take place in OLC’s Stem Lab on Tuesday, May 21^st at 6:30 P.M. There will also be a virtual option for this meeting, if you cannot attend in person.  We look forward to meeting you! The team options are:

• Lego Robotics Explorer for those entering 3^rd grade
• Lego Robotics Challenger for those entering 4^th – 6^th grade
• I.Q. VEX for those entering 5^th & 6^th grade
• V.R.C. VEX for those entering 6^th – 8^th grade

Parents, please be advised that Bristol Rd. is closed north of West Catholic due to construction.  Please choose an alternative route.
