As part of their service project, the 8th graders are working with OLC Layette Ministries to collect items for new moms who may need a helping hand. We need your help to make our goal of 30 baskets. Please see the attached flyer for more information

OLC Lego Robotics & VEX Robotics Informational Meeting for the 2024-25 Season
Is your 2nd– 7th grade student interested in joining one of OLC’s four robotics teams (2 of which are new) next fall? If so, please join us for a parent AND student mandatory informational meeting. Here you will learn about each team and see the robots that can be created and coded. As a result, each family will be able to see which team will be the best fit for their student before registration begins. This will take place in OLC’s Stem Lab on Tuesday, May 21st at 6:30 P.M. There will also be a virtual option for this meeting, if you cannot attend in person. We look forward to meeting you!
The team options are:
Lego Robotics Explorer for those entering 3rd grade
Lego Robotics Challenger for those entering 4th – 6th grade
I.Q. VEX for those entering 5th & 6th grade
V.R.C. VEX for those entering 6th – 8th grade

Today, these students were recognized by their teachers for being Respectful, Responsible and Safe. They got to pick a prize from Mr. Varner’s PBIS Celebration Cart. Congratulations!!!
