Summer greetings from a semi-quiet school building. It’s been fun to have the childcare kids in the building this summer. I hope you are taking sometime to enjoy some summertime adventures.
We have been busy in the office preparing for another great year. Please read this email and all of it’s attachments carefully as there is important information for the upcoming school year.
Time and Talent:
This year we would like to offer three new electives for our Middle School students. Unfortunately, the Shared Time program that we use for art, music, PE, Spanish and technology could not provide a teacher for these new electives. So…I had an idea..
We are currently looking for three volunteers who have a strong passion for kids and the following topics. A teaching degree is not necessary.
1. Digital Citizenship for 6th Grade
2. Health for 7th Grade
3. Personal Finance for 8th Grade
These classes each have a specific curriculum that would be followed for 45 minutes once a week. Our goal would to schedule all three classes at the same time on the same day. If you are at all interested, please let me know as soon as possible.
FREE (USED) COMPUTER CHAIRS
We are replacing the computer chairs in the media center. The used chairs are free to a good home. Please contact the school office to make arrangements for pick up.
